The Digital Products Marketing Exec is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with the relevant data in order to drive the Haymarket Digital Strategy. As well as designing and generating reports from a number of sources in order to have a detailed overview of the digital market, they should be able to use their marketing knowledge to deliver effective, basic marketing campaigns on digital acquisitions and communicate results internally effectively.

Knowledge and experience
• A working knowledge of marketing basics
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly excel and basic knowledge of digital platforms

Job specifics
• Understand, devise format for and interpret digital sales information to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of marketing activity both generally and by agent/distributor level
• Understand, devise format for and interpret digital sales readership data to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the digital content
• To report on the above on a monthly basis, with current monthly v budget/cumulative position v budget/YOY and year end and communicate to manager and some publishers
• Report accurately on historic and current performance and help to forecast future performance
• Interpret and report on campaign results to determine best use of promotional spend and minimise acquisition costs
• Understand behaviours of the renewal file in order to advise on targeting appropriately
• Interpret lapse and cancellation reports and identify any actions which can reduce file losses
• Meet monthly with management accounts to communicate promo spend allocations and vols
• Process invoices promptly and accurately
• Follow best practice when capturing/working with data, particularly with regard to permissions
• Brief designer and editorial design teams for house ads
• Work with editorial and production to ensure page ads and inserts etc are completed to brief and to schedule
• Brief, train and manage subs promotional staff at events
• Deal with customer service issues that haven’t been resolved by the editorial team/bureau or agents
• Deal with any internal production and IT queries
• Dealing with agent promotions
