Jesse Palmer to host DailyMailTV

ABC News Correspondent, ESPN Football Analyst and former NFL Quarterback Jesse Palmer has been announced as host of DailyMailTV, the new daily syndicated series from Stage 29 Productions and DailyMail.com, which will launch across the United States on Monday, September 18, 2017.

Jesse Palmer to host DailyMailTV

Jesse Palmer: "I love telling stories that engage and excite Americans and to be able to do this five days a week on DailyMailTV is a dream come true."

Palmer joins DailyMailTV from ABC News where he is a Special Contributor for Good Morning America. He is also an analyst for ESPN, a role he will continue while hosting DailyMailTV, says the publisher.

Of his appointment, he said: "I'm honored to be joining DailyMailTV. I've always been a huge fan of DailyMail.com, so to bring the world's most read English language newspaper website to television for the first time is an opportunity I couldn't refuse.

"I love telling stories that engage and excite Americans and to be able to do this five days a week on DailyMailTV is a dream come true."

DailyMailTV will bring the best of DailyMail.com to life on television covering stories from the United States and around the globe, from exclusive stories to breaking news, showbiz, politics, crime, health and science and technology.

The series will be executive produced by Carla Pennington (executive producer of DR. PHIL and THE DOCTORS), Jay McGraw (executive producer of THE DOCTORS and the CBS drama series BULL), Martin Clarke (Publisher, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of DailyMail.com) and Dr. Phil McGraw (executive producer of DR. PHIL, THE DOCTORS and the CBS drama series BULL). CBS Television Distribution, which distributes DR. PHIL and THE DOCTORS, will handle the distribution of DailyMailTV.

Martin Clarke said: "I've always been impressed by Jesse's reporting on ABC and ESPN and I'm delighted he is now joining the DailyMailTV team. He is a fantastic broadcaster who will tell the stories of the day that matter to our American viewers."

"We wanted a host that would stand out from the crowd, and Jesse Palmer is that host. We're delighted that he is joining DailyMailTV and we can't wait for the show to begin on September 18 with Jesse at the helm,' said Dr. Phil McGraw.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tribune Broadcasting, Gray Television, Inc., Cox Television and Nexstar Media Group have all cleared the show, bringing coverage to 96% of the U.S.

DailyMailTV will be filmed in New York with Matt Strauss as Executive Producer and Eric Beesemyer as Co-Executive Producer.
