According to distributors COMAG: “Cake Decorating is a new exciting magazine collection that will show the reader how to make fashionable cupcakes and design cakes for all occasions – perfect for sharing with family and friends. In addition, each issue will come with a fabulous range of cake-decorating tools to collect.

Cake DecoratingEach issue of Cake Decorating is a 24-page magazine, and is packed full of inspirational cake-decorating ideas and projects.  The easy-to-follow instructions include all the basic techniques you will need plus essential recipes, and expert tips to provide perfect results every time!

From iced cookies to cakes for special occasions such as birthdays, christenings and even weddings – Cake Decorating provides great ideas for professional-looking finishing touches and a fabulous gallery of amazing cake creations for readers to try for themselves.

Aimed at women with an interest in learning how to create beautifully designed cakes, Cake Decorating builds into a complete step-by-step course enabling the reader to increase skills and confidence as they master the art of cake decorating.

Each issue of Cake Decorating brings you high quality tools and equipment. Every tool in the collection can be used to help create a number of exciting projects. There is at least one project from the magazine linked to the covermounted tool or accessory.  Issue 1 comes with two pink resin-coated butterfly cutters, pink glitter as well as a free flat-packed pink gingham cup-cake stand.

Future issues will carry cake-decorating tools including piping nozzles and bags, a full set of alphabet embossers, star cutters, double-ended ball tool, heart-shape cutters and texture embossers and smoothers, as well as a vast array of stencils. The series offers a set of binders to store your magazines plus storage cases for your cake-decorating tools and nozzles.

The launch issue includes projects such as creating beautiful butterfly cupcakes and delicious iced butterfly cookies using the accompanying butterfly cutters and glitter, a step-by-step guide to essential piping skills and how to make decorative sugarcraft circles for a wonderful celebratory cake.

Cake Decorating will be supported by a massive TV advertising campaign at launch, so retailers are advised to display this new collection prominently alongside other partwork titles.

Issue No.1 is on sale 14/03/12 at the introductory price of £0.99.

Issue No.2 will be on sale 28/03/12 at the regular price of £2.99.”
