dmg media appoints Anne Shooter

dmg media advertising has appointed former MailOnline Commercial Editor and Daily Mail journalist Anne Shooter as Head of Commercial partnerships within its new single sales unit, encompassing the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, MailOnline, Metro and Metro.co.uk.

Anne Shooter previously worked for three years as Commercial Editor for Mail Advertising

In the newly-created role Shooter will be responsible for content, partnerships and project management.

Chief Revenue Officer, Clare Rush said: “I’m delighted to welcome Anne back to the team. She has an impressive track record of creating engaging branded content that delivers great value for our commercial partners as well as entertaining and informing our audiences. Anne understands that authentic, quality content gets results, and I’m excited by the creative and commercial opportunities created by this expanded role.”

Mail Online Publisher Martin Clarke said: “Anne is an extremely experienced and creative journalist who has also excelled in understanding the needs of our biggest clients. She will now extend her success in partnering with brands on native content into building even deeper relationships that cater to all their needs.”

Anne previously worked for three years as Commercial Editor for Mail Advertising, responsible for branded and native content across print and digital and before that was a Daily Mail journalist for 18 years.
