Gogo’s partwork launch

COMAG says: “The Gogo’s made their first appearance in 2008, available as a collectable, which sold in vast numbers and won the 2009 ACE Award for Launch of the Year. Gogo’s Crazy Bones Mega Metropolis builds on the huge popularity of the brand and is another sure-fire hit!

Gogo's Crazy Bones Mega MetropolisEach issue of Gogo’s Crazy Bones Mega Metropolis contains a head-swapping Mega Gogo with a mystery Mini Gogo inside, as well as a cool Pod in one of six colours. The accompanying 20-page magazine is packed with an exciting mix of cool games, comic strips, Gogo’s battles, puzzles and trivia. The ‘Gogo’s Files’ feature tells readers all about the character highlighted in the issue and each new Gogo gets its very own exclusive comic strip. ‘Game Zone’ explains how to use the Mega Gogo and Pod to play great new games and there’s a Mega Gogo battle poster every week.

Issue two comes with a free tidy box and issue three has a free mini poster!

Alex Neal, UK Sales and Marketing Manager for Eaglemoss, says, “We are launching Gogo’s Crazy Bones Mega Metropolis on December 30th and are confident of a massive sale having seen the buzz and hype around the Gogo’s brand. To date, Gogo’s have sold over 35m units so there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that the success will be transferred to partworks.”

Supported by a large TV advertising campaign, Gogo’s Crazy Bones Mega Metropolis will have a circulation of over 500,000 with back issues available for stockists that sell out. Eaglemoss is providing point of sale materials for independent retailers and there will be a stockist finder on a soon-to-be-launched website, which will ensure that customers can find their closest newsagent.”
