Media 10 acquires Publishing Media & Events

Media 10 has acquired Publishing Media & Events Ltd, a move with bolsters Media 10’s offering within the kitchen and bathroom sector.

Media 10 acquires Publishing Media & Events

Lee Newton and Clara Perry seal the deal.

Pro Publishing’s brands include luxury consumer magazine Utopia Kitchen & Bathroom, trade magazine Designer Kitchen & Bathroom, and the Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards event. Digital brands and also form part of the portfolio, as well as The d List, the Designer Guides and the Utopia Supplements.

All brands will continue be headed up and managed by Clara Perry under a directorship role of the newly formed kitchen and bathroom division at Media 10 Ltd. Clara and her team will benefit from working closely with Media 10’s established portfolio of shows, publications and websites, says Media 10.

Media has a large portfolio of exhibitions including 100% Design, Clerkenwell Design Week, Design Shanghai, UK Construction Week, Grand Designs Live, and The Ideal Home Shows. The company also publishes a number of magazines, including Grand Designs, Good Homes, On Office and Icon magazine.

Commenting on the acquisition, Clara Perry, says: “I launched the first ever issue of Utopia Kitchen & Bathroom magazine back in July 2007 at Grand Designs Live. Having known Lee Newton and the directors at Media 10 for over 15 years, I am overwhelmed and beaming with pride that the brands I have built up over the last 11 years, have now become part of the Media 10 portfolio. Together, we have some really exciting plans for the magazines and brands, including new launches across print and events for the kitchen and bathroom sector! This really is an exciting time and I can’t wait to get going!”
