Trinity Mirror Solutions and former Northern & Shell sales teams combine

Reach plc has combined its two sales teams - Trinity Mirror Solutions and the former Northern & Shell sales team to form one national sales team, under the leadership of Reach’s Chief Revenue Officer, Andy Atkinson.

Andy Atkinson: "The newly combined sales team will give advertisers access to over 45 million people in the UK a month."

Andy joined Reach in 2014, and has been instrumental in driving the commercial growth of the business over the past four years, says the company.

Andy said, "The newly combined sales team will give advertisers access to over 45 million people in the UK a month. As well as this valuable scale the portfolio represents diversity via nine politically and culturally different national newsbrands, the opportunity to reach people in the most trusted media environment via our 140 regional newspapers, and brand safety via our network of 60 professionally produced websites."

As a consequence of this change, says Reach plc, Toby Morris, Commercial Director, Northern & Shell, has decided that this is an appropriate moment for him to leave the Group and seek new opportunities.

Simon Fox, Chief Executive, Reach plc, said, "Toby has done an outstanding job leading the Northern & Shell commercial team over the past three years, and he has built a sales team who are highly respected across the market.

"I would like to thank Toby for everything he has done and he departs with our very best wishes for the future."
