Additionally, the integration of Login and Pay with Amazon Payment Services lets customers sign in securely with their Amazon account details to use their saved payment information.

New initiatives for the main website over the Christmas period include a digital catalogue that showcases ther bestselling subscription titles, 500,000 print inserts distributed to online shoppers, Deal of the Day emails and a TV advertising campaign.

The TV advert focuses on the fact that there is a magazine subscription for everyone, from health to housekeeping, fashion to fitness and cars to gardening. Five versions of the advert have been made to display different male and female magazine titles.

The £100,000 campaign is being tested on selected channels now and the schedule will be tweaked as Christmas starts in earnest and analysis proves the best performing programs and times to focus on. The adverts can be seen here.

isubscribe has also developed new partnerships with several companies who wish to market magazine subscriptions to their customers. These will be live by Black Friday.

Existing partnerships such as Easons of Ireland, in the United States and iSUBSCRiBE Australia will also be maximised to showcase great UK magazines around the world.

Steve Price, Managing Director of isubscribe, said: “Subscriptions are more popular than ever but we know that to get real growth for our publishing clients we needed to showcase subscriptions to more people and then to ensure that our websites provided the best online customer experience possible. The TV campaign is very exciting as it is the first time that such a wide range of magazine subscriptions have been promoted in the UK.”

Finally, isubscribe sold its 1 millionth subscription last week. Sales have steadily risen year after year and it was pleasing that the 1 millionth sold was GQ magazine, which was one of the first ever titles sold in 2004, says isubscribe.
