The integration enables publishers to apply individualized renewal pricing recommendations within their existing subscription workflows.

Matt Varblow: “Together, we're helping publishers make pricing a more strategic growth lever, turning sophisticated renewal and subscription pricing strategies into action through the systems and workflows they already rely on every day.”

AdvantageCS has announced it has expanded its partnership with Mather to integrate Mather’s subscription pricing intelligence directly into Advantage, enabling publishers to apply individualized renewal pricing strategies across their subscriber base without changing the systems and processes they already use.

Through the integration, Mather evaluates subscriber and billing history maintained in Advantage and generates a recommended renewal price for each subscriber, says the company. Those recommendations are returned to Advantage, where clients can incorporate them into their established renewal workflows.

The data exchange removes the need for publishers to export files, transfer recommendations manually or learn a separate platform, added Advantage. Subscription management, billing, customer service and related activities remain within Advantage, helping organisations preserve existing business processes while making more informed renewal pricing decisions.

Renewal pricing requires publishers to balance the potential revenue from a price increase against its potential impact on subscriber retention, the company continued. Mather’s pricing models assess that trade-off at the individual subscriber or segment level, helping organisations identify renewal prices that support revenue growth while accounting for long-term subscriber value.

By combining AdvantageCS’s subscription management capabilities with Mather’s pricing intelligence, the company says publishers can move beyond broad, one-size-fits-all renewal strategies and make more targeted pricing decisions across their subscriber base.

Matt Varblow, CTO of AdvantageCS, said: “At AdvantageCS, we help publishers manage the entire subscriber journey, from acquisition and fulfillment to renewals, customer service, and revenue management. Our platform gives clients the flexibility to support innovative subscription products, bundles, and pricing strategies, while Mather brings proven pricing intelligence and a strong track record of increasing revenue and customer lifetime value. Together, we're helping publishers make pricing a more strategic growth lever, turning sophisticated renewal and subscription pricing strategies into action through the systems and workflows they already rely on every day.”

Matt Lindsay, CEO of Mather, added: “Intelligent pricing presents a significant opportunity for publishers to grow ARPU and drive long-term revenue growth. Bringing Mather’s pricing intelligence together with AdvantageCS’s subscription management capabilities, publishers can make more informed pricing decisions that reflect the value of each subscriber, reduce subscriber churn, and support healthier, more sustainable revenue growth.”
