NLA Media Access appoints James White
James White: “I’m thrilled to be joining NLA Media Access at such an important time for publishers and the wider media industry."

NLA Media Access has appointed James White as chief revenue officer (CRO), further strengthening its executive leadership team as the company says it continues to expand its commercial partnerships and publisher services.

White joins NLA from Seedtag, where he most recently served as EMEA commercial director, leading the company’s commercial strategy and agency relationships.

Prior to Seedtag, White held senior leadership roles at ESI Media including chief trading officer and later chief commercial officer. During his time at the publisher, he was responsible for driving commercial strategy, partnerships, and cross-platform revenue growth across the business.

In his new role as CRO, White will oversee licensing revenue growth, new strategic partnerships, and sales operations across NLA, working closely with existing and new stakeholders across the media landscape, says the company.

“James brings more than two decades of media industry experience and commercial leadership across premium publishing brands,” said Henry Jones, CEO at NLA. “His deep understanding of the media ecosystem and strong relationships across the industry make him a valuable addition to our leadership team as we continue to diversify our offering and support publishers in a rapidly changing market.”

White said: “I’m thrilled to be joining NLA Media Access at such an important time for publishers and the wider media industry. NLA plays a critical role in protecting and enhancing the value of trusted journalism, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to help drive the next phase of growth.”

NLA Media Access says the appointment reflects its continued investment in its commercial capabilities and long-term commitment to supporting journalism through granting access to data and content, protecting publisher IP, and maximising royalties.
