Archant appoints first ever Chief Marketing Officer

Archant has announced the appointment of Will Hattam as Chief Marketing Officer, to lead the company’s overall marketing strategy and evolution, including its continued digital development.

Will has been at Archant for over three years, with 18 years of experience in the publishing industry, and was previously Managing Director of Archant Lifestyle and Archant London.

Will Hattam said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed Chief Marketing Officer following three great years here. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the new role and continuing to ensure everything we do inspires communities – it’s a very exciting time to be part of the team.”

Prior to joining Archant, Will was the Managing Director of Bauer Media’s Motorcycling Division for four years and also spent nine years with Trinity Mirror where he held a number of senior roles including Marketing Director of National Newspapers. Will started his career as a Media Buyer at Zenith Optimedia and is also currently a Board Director at the PPA.
