Jim Egan

Jim is the lead author of the Digital News Report at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Oxford University.

He was CEO of BBC World News and bbc.com between 2012-2020 before leaving to become Chief Investment Officer of Media Development Investment Fund.

Prior to taking up his position at Oxford, he was part of the executive leadership team at FT Strategies, the media consulting arm of the Financial Times.
