Dominic Lawson: “I am delighted to be re-joining the Telegraph as a columnist, having long admired its courageous and agenda-setting journalism under Chris Evans.”

Dominic Lawson yesterday re-joined the Telegraph as a twice-weekly commentator, alongside regular appearances on The Telegraph’s flagship podcast, The Daily T. Lawson will write on a range of topics, primarily on politics and current affairs, says the publisher. His debut column will be published on Friday 4th September.

A former editor of both The Sunday Telegraph and The Spectator, Lawson most recently wrote for The Sunday Times and Daily Mail. His extensive career also includes regular contributions to the Financial Times and The Independent. He has also been the presenter of a number of BBC Radio programmes, including several series of ‘Across the Board.’

Dominic Lawson said: “I am delighted to be re-joining the Telegraph as a columnist, having long admired its courageous and agenda-setting journalism under Chris Evans.”

Chris Evans, editor, said: “Dominic is a superb columnist. Our readers will be as excited as we are to welcome him back.”
