Olive launches new Travel & Taste Awards celebrating some of the world’s best food-first travel experiences and destinations.

Olive launches Travel & Taste Awards
Alex Crossley: “For more than 20 years, olive has inspired audiences through food, and following its successful relaunch as a premium lifestyle brand, the olive Travel & Taste Awards are a natural next step.”

Olive, an aspirational lifestyle brand focusing on food and travel has launched its inaugural Travel & Taste Awards celebrating the destinations, hotels and experiences shaping the future of food-led travel.

Designed for a growing audience of experience-driven travellers, the awards will celebrate the destinations and businesses delivering exceptional culinary experiences around the world - from destination dining and vineyard stays to city breaks, island escapes and immersive regional food culture, says the publisher.

Alex Crossley, digital growth lead at olive, says: “For more than 20 years, olive has inspired audiences through food, and following its successful relaunch as a premium lifestyle brand, the olive Travel & Taste Awards are a natural next step. As food increasingly drives travel decisions, the awards celebrate the destinations, experiences and brands creating exceptional food-led travel, while helping consumers discover where to eat, stay and explore next.”

The winners will be selected by a panel of olive’s editors, alongside travel and food experts and influencers including spirits specialist Millie Milliken-Holdham, food travel content creator Verna Gao and hotel/restaurant tastemakers Gina Jackson and Milly Kenny-Ryder, the publisher continued.

The winners, which will be announced in September, will receive national editorial coverage across olive platforms, commercial partnership opportunities, social and digital amplification and use of the official olive Travel & Taste Awards winner branding.

Olive says the launch comes as culinary tourism continues to outperform wider travel trends, with travellers increasingly prioritising restaurants, local food culture and immersive experiences when planning trips.
