Touch Tree Technology has appointed Brendon Bester as commercial director, bolstering its executive leadership team as the company expands its suite of AI-powered digital products for the publishing industry. The company says Bester will lead commercial strategy and drive the adoption of Touch Tree’s mobile-first digital platforms, helping publishers elevate reader experiences and unlock value from their content.
Bringing over 20 years of international leadership across print and digital publishing, international licensing, and enterprise SaaS, Bester possesses a comprehensive understanding of the operational realities, editorial craft, and commercial opportunities facing modern publishers, says Touch Tree Technology. His role will focus on driving Touch Tree’s next generation of AI-enhanced digital products, enabling publishers to turn legacy PDF archives into dynamic, mobile-native reader experiences, without the traditional friction of third-party app stores.
The appointment comes as publishers increasingly seek sophisticated, reader-centric solutions that complement existing print operations. Rather than forcing costly or disruptive technical overhauls, Touch Tree says its platform is designed to meet publishers where they are: taking established brands, loyal readerships, and valuable back-catalogues, and re-imagining them for modern mobile devices.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Touch Tree at such an exciting juncture for the business," said Brendon Bester, commercial director at Touch Tree Technology. "Publishers are facing complex challenges when it comes to engaging digital audiences and monetising their archives, but Touch Tree has spent years developing truly amazing technology to solve exactly these issues. I look forward to taking this incredible platform even further and helping our publishing partners do so much more with their content."
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome Brendon on board," said Jason Mengers, managing director of Touch Tree Technology. "He brings an incredible breadth of experience to the team, particularly in his work with AI and historical archives. Having someone with Brendon's expertise join us to celebrate and drive our technology forward is a major milestone. I have no doubt that his leadership will help us develop even better, AI-driven products that will deliver tremendous benefits and new commercial opportunities for the publishers we work with."
