Dennis has announced the appointment of Nick Flood in the newly formed role of Deputy MD of Digital.

Flood will step into the position from his current role of Product & Commercial Operations Director where he has been managing the Product, Ad Ops, Campaign Management and Programmatic teams since January 2017. Prior to this, Flood joined Dennis from CAP Automotive in 2014 as Lead Product Manager and then Head of Product Management. As Deputy Managing Director, Digital, Nick will continue to manage the Product and Commercial Operations teams, continuing his work to enhance Dennis’ commercial offering, product delivery and revenue diversification. Flood will join the Dennis Senior Management Team and the Digital Board, with a focus on strategic growth and innovation within the overall business.

Flood’s appointment will help further accelerate Dennis’ strategy of revenue diversification and growth. Digital revenues were up 50% and reached £50m in 2017, accounting for 45% of the company’s revenue. This was driven by which grew 100% year on year, affiliate revenues which were up over 400% and Lead Generation which increased by 35%, says the company.

He is also future looking and his work to combat Ad Block users across our properties has gained industry wide recognition.

Nick will work with the Digital Board and myself to prioritise the digital team’s resources and focus on innovation and growth. He will also take on an increasing role in both the financial performance and strategy of the digital business.
