Graham and Mike launch LondonLovesBusiness

Graham Sherren and Mike Bokaie, founders of Centaur Media and Caspian Media respectively, have united to create LondonLovesBusiness, an online site dedicated to championing London business issues.

LondonLovesBusiness claims to be the first editorial publication to focus on all business within the capital and will champion and chart the contribution that London and Londoners make to the UK and global markets. LondonLovesBusiness will launch in September 2011.

LondonLovesBusiness will be published by Casis Media, a digital media and events company created by Graham and Mike earlier this year, and which has already launched LondonLovesJobs, a recruitment site dedicated to London jobs over £30,000 per annum. Graham (pictured standing on the right) and Mike (on the left) bring an unrivalled wealth of publishing experience, determination and humour to the new venture which will quickly demonstrate the shortcomings in London business reporting offered by rival publishers, says the company.

Mike Bokaie, Founder and Chief Executive, Casis Media: “London business makes a huge contribution to the UK and global economy and we will be the first dedicated publication to acknowledge that. Our aim is to further the ambitions of London’s businesses, big and small and weed out those who block enterprise. We will celebrate good business and success stories and rally against bureaucracy, mindless law-making and waste.”

Mike and Graham have assembled an award winning editorial team that will be overseen by Editorial Director Dan Matthews, an entrepreneur and previously online publisher and editor at Caspian Publishing and Crimson Business. Dan will lead a team of some of the best known UK business staff writers and ‘editors at large’ that will create a compelling mix of news and feature articles that get under the skin of London business.

Dan Matthews, Editorial Director, LondonLovesBusiness: “The editorial mix will reflect the huge diversity of London businesses and their contribution to making this city one of the biggest financial centres in the world. We will be breaking news and creating our own campaigns which will support London business in its aim to succeed. For anyone with a business interest in London, LondonLovesBusiness will be an essential guide, ally and adviser on everything that matters.”

LondonLovesBusiness is the first editorial site in what is expected to become a global series of launches by Mike and Graham. Mike Bokaie: “We are currently looking at other key markets with a view to rolling out the ‘LovesBusiness’ offering. There is no doubt that publishers to date have overlooked the opportunity of creating dedicated business editorial titles for the world’s capital cities.”
