As a result, a number of the most prominent Immediate titles – including BBC Music Magazine and BBC History Magazine – have new digital editions available for individuals and institutions.
A total of seven different brands published by Immediate are now available across a range of digital platforms in conjunction with Exact Editions. Each of the seven are available on native iOS, Android and web platforms. Institutional users and individuals alike will be able to access each brand across a full range of devices.
The Immediate titles that have launched new digital editions are:
BBC History Magazine
BBC Focus Magazine
BBC Music Magazine
BBC Wildlife Magazine
BBC Sky at Night Magazine
Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine
Each of these publications has a range of back issues that are available to search by issue, year or decade. As such each archive makes for a valuable resource, especially for institutional subscribers. Subscribing schools, colleges or universities can provide unlimited access to each individual title, or the full range, allowing users to browse across the publications as well as in depth.
Mark Summerton, Head of Apps and Digital Edition Marketing at Immediate says: “We’re delighted to be working with Exact Editions to deliver our publications in new areas, especially in the institutional market. Each of the brands look fantastic on the range of different platforms, and makes for a fantastic educational tool.”
Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions says of the new partnership: “Exact Editions has a long history of working with publishers in delivering digital editions to institutions. The Immediate brands follow a pattern of being beautiful magazines that look great in digital editions, and have rich content that appeals to individuals and institutions alike.”
