The 9 issue strong archive is hosted by digital publishing services platform Exact Editions, and can be read, browsed and searched by subscribers across web, iOS and Android devices.
Huizache has been at the forefront of Latinx literature and art since 2011, publishing some of the most important and influential Latinx writers spanning generations. The publication focuses on prose and poetry, highlighting voices that too often go unheard in the contemporary literary landscape, and has featured works by poet laureates, MacArthur and Guggenheim fellows, and winners of many prestigious awards, explained Exact Editions.
The complete archive, with an advanced search function, will grow with each new annual issue published. Contents pages are linked for intuitive navigation, and issues can also be downloaded for offline reading via the Exactly app, continued the company.
Editor Maceo Montoya remarked: “Huizache’s groundbreaking content and careful attention to design is replicated in this clean and sleek new digital edition. Joining the Exact Editions platform is an excellent opportunity to expand our readership and share the work of Latinx authors and poets in academic circles internationally.”
Managing director of Exact Editions, Daryl Rayner, said: “With such important and influential content included in its archive, Huizache is sure to be a popular resource with literature departments worldwide, and will benefit from our team’s expertise in selling to libraries internationally.”You can find out more about Exact Editions in our Publishing Services Directory.
