Pension Funds Online brings together up-to-date financial and contact information for around 9,000 pension funds, primarily in the UK and Europe through a modern, searchable digital interface, says Pageant Media.
First produced in print form back in 1978 as the so-called Blue and Red Books, the online database is today used by asset managers, investment consultants and other service providers to drive their investor outreach strategies.
The UK-based business further strengthens Pageant’s current investor intelligence product offerings and will sit alongside Fundmap which covers North American investors. PFO is the third acquisition to be completed since Intermediate Capital Group became Pageant Media’s strategic partner in February last year. All nine people working on the product are transferring over to Pageant’s London office near St Paul’s Cathedral.
Commenting on today's announcement, Charlie Kerr, Chief Executive of Pageant Media, said: “We have long admired Pension Funds Online and we are delighted to be able to add the business to our existing portfolio of information products targeted at asset allocation and fund-raising.”
Mark Milner, CEO of Wilmington plc said: “Pageant Media is a great new home for Pension Funds Online and we wish them, and the team at PFO, the very best of luck in this new chapter.”
