PPA Digital Awards 2016 – the winners

The PPA has announced the winners of The PPA Digital Awards 2016, its annual celebration of outstanding digital talent in consumer magazines and business media.

The event saw Dennis Publishing retain the title of Digital Publisher of the Year (Consumer Media) for the third year in succession.

In a triumphant night for the company, Dennis also took home awards for Commercial Team of the Year, Design/UX Product of the Year, and Audience Development Strategy of the Year.

In the Business Media category, the Digital Publisher of the Year award went to Plexus, part of Ascential, formerly the Top Right Group. In addition, Will Hurst of Plexus brand The Architects' Journal, was named Content Individual of the Year.

A total of 20 awards were handed out at a glittering ceremony, hosted by Mark Watson, at The Brewery in the City of London on the evening of November 8 in front of an audience of more than 400 industry professionals, says the PPA.

Other publishers to pick up awards on the night were: BBC Worldwide, Bauer Media, Condé Nast, The Economist Group, Haymarket Media Group, Hearst Magazines UK, Immediate Media Co, Seven, Shortlist Media, The Drum, Time Inc. UK, and Wild Bunch Media.
