Rachel was appointed TI Media’s chief finance officer in June 2018 and has a proven track record, says Future, in driving, developing and delivering profits through new revenue growth, business transformation, organisational restructuring and mergers & acquisitions.
Rachel was formerly managing director of Trinity Mirror’s Regional Media division, which publishes 200-plus print titles and local websites, with brands ranging from the Manchester Evening News to the Birmingham Mail. Prior to that, she was CFO/COO and executive board member of Local World Limited, a regional media publisher of 100-plus print titles and local websites.
Rachel replaces Penny Ladkin-Brand, who steps down from the Board to assume the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
Future CEO Zillah Byng-Thorne said: “I welcome Rachel to Future and want to personally thank Penny for her outstanding stewardship of our finances, and look forward to working with her in her new capacity.”
Rachel Addison said: “This is an important moment in the history of these two media companies and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I’m excited to see what opportunities there are following integration and what together we can achieve.”
