Blues Matters announces digital archive project

Blues Matters, the blues magazine, has partnered with digital publishing company Exact Editions to launch the complete 18-year archive of the bi-monthly magazine.

Subscribers to Blues Matters, whether in digital or print, institution or individual, can now browse the complete archive of back issues dating back to the first issue, originally published in 1999. 93 issues covering blues news and reviews are now fully searchable via the Exact Editions website or the respective iOS and Android apps.

Exact Editions’ search functionality allows users to get the most out of the backfile of Blues Matters, with each word, author and article covered in the comprehensive search system.

Alan Pearce, Founder and Publisher of Blues Matters said about the digital launch: “We are excited to be able to offer the complete archive to our subscribers, new and old. Readers will take great pleasure in browsing through the reams of back issues, discovering new and old articles and music.”

Exact Editions’ Managing Director, Daryl Rayner, said: “At Exact Editions, we are thrilled to work with Blues Matters to make such a rich resource available to individuals and institutions worldwide. The magazine looks fantastic online and is an invaluable resource to blues lovers everywhere.”
