For one year, a hand-picked selection of 60 issues from Magazines Canada members will be freely available to read on Exact Editions’ digital publishing platform, says the company. Showcase participants include The Walrus; Brick, A Literary Journal; The Capilano Review and C Magazine, as well as Grain, The New Quarterly, NUVO, Queen’s Quarterly, Ligne, and ESPACE art actuel.
Exact Editions says it has a visually intuitive display which preserves print editions precisely as published. The platform is fully-searchable and has a number of accessibility features, including read-aloud technology.
The showcase is available to access on both the Magazines Canada and Exact Editions websites, alongside many libraries, through Exact Editions’ contacts and connections in the global library market.
The initiative is a reflection and amplification of Canada’s robust magazine publishing industry - celebrating and sharing the work of an outstanding range of thriving magazine titles, in Canada and beyond, Exact Editions continued.
The Magazines Canada Showcase is available to read here until 1 April 2027.
