The title will re-join Bauer Media’s existing classic titles, Classic Cars and Practical Classics, creating the biggest selling UK classics magazine portfolio.
According to Bauer, Monthly titles Classic Cars and Practical Classics are currently enjoying considerable success, having forged ahead in the latest set of ABC results. Practical Classics has an average circulation of 57,936 (ABC Jan-June 09), making it the biggest selling classic car magazine in the UK and ROI.
Following its successful re-launch in 2008, Classic Cars now has a significantly bigger issue size and has an average circulation of 35,564 (ABC Jan-June 09).
Classic Car Weekly was launched by Emap (which was acquired by Bauer Media in February 2008), in 1990, and currently claims to have sales of around 26,000 a week.

The first Bauer Media produced copy of Classic Car Weekly will be on sale 3rd December 2009. Bauer Media will be taking on any staff who are covered by TUPE guidelines.
