COMAG to distribute Johnston Press off-road titles

COMAG has announced that Trials and Motocross News (T+MX NEWS) and Dirt Bike Rider (DBR) will be distributed by them from this summer.

Published by Johnston Press plc’s Off-Road Portfolio, the titles were previously distributed by COMAG until 2004. More recently, they have been distributed by Seymour.

Weekly title T+MX News moves to COMAG from the issue on sale 3 July while monthly title DBR joins us from its 10 July issue.

Launched in 1977, T+MX News is dedicated to off-road motorcycle sport and Editor John Dickinson confirms that: “T+MX NEWS is the world’s number one off-road weekly!”

Thanks to its weekly status, the newspaper is a lively, colourful, fast moving medium that continuously sets the pace for the off-road scene.  Concentrating on all that is best in trials, motocross, enduro, supermoto and quad racing, T+MX claims to offer an unbeatable mix of up-to-the-minute news, race reports, professional bike tests, specialist columns and top quality photographic action provided by the best scribes and snappers in the business. Its cover price is £2.

The 3 July issue has a special preview of the 10th round of the World Motocross Championships, a major event in the motocross calendar, which takes place 5 July.

Dirt Bike Rider (DBR), founded in 1981, reflects the style, excitement and adrenaline of motocross and off-road motorcycle sport.

Sean Lawless, Editor of Dirt Bike Rider, says: "DBR's the biggest-selling dirt bike magazine in the UK with an ever-increasing market share and now COMAG's on board we're looking forward to pulling even further clear."

Content is a blend of expert editorial, cutting-edge technical articles, race reports, bike tests, star columnists, new products and rider features, combined with images from leading photographers.  DBR is an essential purchase for young and image-conscious dirt bike owners.  Majoring on motocross and supercross, DBR also offers freestyle, trials, enduro and supermoto from around the world, ensuring maximum impact with its glossy, full colour A4 format and £3.50 cover price.

The July 10 issue of DBR includes a special feature from the Erzberg Rodeo, the toughest extreme enduro on the face of the planet.
