The magazine will be a premium pack of Star Wars goodies that will give kids a real insight into the whole of the Star Wars universe, says Egmont. Star Wars Adventures will be published monthly and will include all things Star Wars from the classic films, to Star Wars: Clone Wars to Star Wars Rebels.
Each loosely themed issue will contain stickers and posters. The first issue, which will be droid themed, will have a disc shooter, a Darth Vader key ring and licensed Star Wars trading cards. Issue one includes a countdown of the top ten greatest droids, and spotlight on the two coolest droids in Star Wars – C-3PO and R2-D2! There are also hundreds of pounds of Star Wars LEGO sets to win.
Plus, continues Egmont, the reader can find out how to win a pod race, learn the secrets of Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon and see who would win in a fight between Yoda and Darth Vader!
Jo Doubtfire, Publisher of Egmont’s Disney magazine portfolio, said: “We are thrilled to be launching Star Wars Adventures; all of the editorial team have been channeling their inner Jedi in order to create this ultimate introduction to the Star Wars Galaxy.”
The launch of Star Wars Adventures magazine will be on sale on Wednesday 15th July, priced at £3.99 aimed at kids aged 6 – 11 years.
