Christian Guiltenane: "We're incredibly excited to launch Planet K-Pop at a time when K-pop has become a truly global cultural phenomenon.”

As K-Pop continues its rise from music genre to global cultural phenomenon, independent publisher Anthem Publishing is launching Planet K-Pop, a new monthly magazine dedicated to the world of Korean music, fashion, beauty and entertainment. Issue 1 goes on sale today (16 July 2026), offering fans a colourful, collectible magazine packed with music, fashion, beauty, food and entertainment.

Created for the rapidly growing global community of K-Pop fans, the publisher says Planet K-Pop goes beyond the music to explore the wider world of Korean culture. Each monthly issue features artist interviews, exclusive features, fashion inspiration, K-beauty, film and TV recommendations, food, fan content and collectible extras, bringing together every aspect of the K-Pop lifestyle in one place.

The debut issue features BTS, Stray Kids and KATSEYE, alongside the latest K-Pop news, an A-Z of Aespa, K-beauty bargains, K-snacks, puzzles and more, added Anthem Publishing. Readers will also receive four giant posters and an exclusive K-Pop sticker pack.

Christian Guiltenane, editor, Planet K-Pop, said: "We're incredibly excited to launch Planet K-Pop at a time when K-pop has become a truly global cultural phenomenon. Our aim is to create a magazine where every fan feels represented, whether they love BTS, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, aespa, KATSEYE or the next generation of rising stars. Packed with interviews, fashion, K-beauty, food, posters and more, we hope every issue inspires fans to discover something new and celebrate the incredible world of K-pop."

Katherine Raderecht, publisher, added: "The popularity of K-pop and Korean culture has never been greater, yet there has never been a dedicated Western magazine that brings together every aspect of this vibrant world in one place. Planet K-Pop is designed to fill that gap, giving fans a high-quality, collectible magazine that celebrates the music, fashion, beauty and culture they love."

The magazine is aimed primarily at Gen Z readers but will appeal to K-Pop fans of all ages, says the publisher. Launching initially in the UK and US, Planet K-Pop has been developed with international expansion in mind as the global appetite for Korean culture continues to grow.

Planet K-Pop Issue 1 is on sale from 16 July 2026, priced at £6.99, and will be available nationwide from TGJones, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and other leading newsagents and retailers.
