HistoryExtra has announced the launch of History’s Greatest Leaders, a new podcast series hosted by entrepreneur and broadcaster Mike Soutar.
Across eight weekly episodes, Mike sits down with eight historians to discuss the figures who changed the course of history and finds out what today’s CEOs and business leaders can learn from them.
From Tracy Borman on Elizabeth I to Simon Sebag Montefiore on Catherine the Great, each episode unpacks the qualities that defined some of history’s most iconic leaders: their crisis management, decision-making skills and how they inspired and led, says the publisher.
Speaking about the launch of the podcast, Mike Soutar said: "It was a privilege to sit down with historians of this calibre to talk about some of the most influential historical figures. We put eight remarkable leaders under the microscope, and asked what we can learn from them today. What the historians uncovered in every conversation went far beyond what I expected going in."
