Immediate sells GolfMagic and Visordown to Crash Media Group

Immediate Media Co, the special interest content and platform business, today agreed the sale of GolfMagic and Visordown to Farringdon-based Crash Media Group.

Crash Media are motor sport specialists with almost 20 years’ experience developing media solutions for the sector, building more than 100 websites, and producing media management systems for clients including Ducati, Red Bull and Land Rover.

Julie Harris, Immediate Group Managing Director, says: “GolfMagic and Visordown are both great brands with very talented teams. We were approached by Crash Media to acquire both businesses and felt they were strategically an excellent fit. It quickly became very clear that they could give the brands and people the focus, support and investment they need to meet their true potential. I want to thank the teams for all their hard work and success at Immediate and I look forward to watching them flourish at Crash Media.”

William Miller, Crash Managing Director, says: “The acquisition of the two brands is a giant step forward for Crash Media Group. We have created the largest digital motorcycling portfolio in the UK with the acquisition of Visordown. We are also taking our first foray out of motorsport / motorcycling with GolfMagic, which we are very excited about. With the input of our digital agency Accelerate we feel these brands can grow significantly, along with the rest of the portfolio.”

The sale completes today and Immediate will continue to support the brands as they transition to full Crash Media ownership.
