Meat Trades Journal, launched in May 1888, is to close. According to William Reed Business Media, its events – Butcher’s Shop of the Year, Champion of Champion and National Butchers’ Week – will continue.
WRBM’s Food Manufacture magazine will expand its coverage of the meat market and MTJ editor Rod Addy will become its editor.
In addition, says WRBM, The Grocer will also expand its coverage of the meat sector.
