Adept Data Services has been set up by an experienced senior management team, including Rob Sherwood (Managing Director), Paul Mitchell (Chairman) and Jason Wheeler (Technical Director).
AdeptIS has already been used (albeit in a different guise) by Beeline Data Services for ten years and, says the company, AdeptEM is based on the system, developed by a sister company, which has been used for many years by Telegraph Media Group.
Adept Data Services has two well established sister companies with whom it shares management and staff. These companies, says Adept, develop and support systems and clients in very diverse marketplaces but these includes publishing and events businesses, e-commerce, as well as other media bureaux.
Alongside the software, the Adept team has experience working within publishing and events business, software development and support, bureau operations, marketing and possess extensive data handling and analysis experience, including ABC and BPA circulation audits.
Rob Sherwood, Managing Director of Adept Data Services, has over 20 years' experience in the B2B publishing sector and has worked with clients large and small including Financial Times, Haymarket Publishing, EMAP, Centaur, Telegraph Media Group, Newsquest and Incisive Media.
“We are really excited about our software and feel that it offers a solution to many businesses,” Rob Sherwood says.
“Clients can outsource as little or as much as they want to. We have a team of publishing and events experts on board to support our clients.”
Paul Mitchell, the Chairman, has a career in publishing that extends back to the 1980s and has worked for Maxwell Business Communications, held a senior finance role within Wilmington Group and, ultimately, jointly headed up the WDIS bureau.
Jason Wheeler, Technical Director, has had a wealth of experience in many sectors over the last three decades, from tech support companies to religious dioceses; PR firms to large-scale eCommerce.
