Uncut, a monthly rock music magazine, has launched a new digital archive in partnership with publishing platform Exact Editions that is available to individuals and institutions.

Zen Lee: “The new digital edition is an opportunity to grow the magazine’s audience, especially into the institutional market.”

In addition to a collection of 12 fully-searchable back issues, subscriptions to the growing resource will encompass every new issue published.

Originally launched in 1997 and now owned by BandLab Technologies, each issue of Uncut features comprehensive and trustworthy reviews that showcase the best new releases alongside interviews with the greatest names in music past and present, says Exact Editions.

The technology of the Exact Editions platform allows the digital issues of Uncut to be browsed seamlessly across web, iOS and Android devices. The comprehensive search function also allows readers to pinpoint references to specific artists, songs or topics, either in a single issue or across the whole archive.

Uncut is available in the Exact Editions individual and institutional shops.

Zen Lee, Growth Marketing Executive at BandLab Technologies commented: “The new digital edition is an opportunity to grow the magazine’s audience, especially into the institutional market. We’re so pleased with how the issues have transferred from print to digital, and navigating the back catalogue couldn’t be easier.”

Managing Director of Exact Editions, Daryl Rayner, said: “Uncut will be a valuable addition to the digital libraries of both individual readers and institutions thanks to its comprehensive coverage of the rock music scene.”
