Readly partners with EE
Laurent Kayser: “Partnering with EE, one of the UK’s leading consumer brands and subscription platforms, is an important milestone for Readly and Cafeyn Group.”

Magazine and newspaper app Readly has announced a new partnership with EE, to offer journalism to over a million households through EE One Up, EE’s exclusive rewards programme for EE One customers with broadband and mobile. The partnership strengthens Readly’s position in the UK while supporting EE’s broader convergence strategy of bringing mobile, broadband and more together, creating a more seamless experience for customers while rewarding loyalty, says the company.

Through this partnership, EE One Up customers benefit from an extended period of free access to over 5,000 magazines and newspapers from global publishers through a single subscription. Readers can explore content across news, entertainment, technology, gaming, health and cars, including titles such as The Guardian, Empire, Stuff, Edge, Women’s Health, Radio Times and Auto Express, all available through the Readly app in a personalised and intuitive format.

Laurent Kayser, CEO at Cafeyn Group said: “Partnering with EE, one of the UK’s leading consumer brands and subscription platforms, is an important milestone for Readly and Cafeyn Group. It also reflects the growing role trusted editorial content can play in helping telecom operators create deeper customer engagement. Together, we aim to make high-quality journalism more accessible to millions of UK consumers through a seamless and highly valued experience.”

The partnership reflects Cafeyn Group’s expertise in building large-scale distribution partnerships with leading telecom and digital platforms across Europe, the company continued. Through its hybrid B2C and B2B2C model, Cafeyn enables partners such as EE to enrich their customer value proposition with media titles while creating sustainable monetisation opportunities for publishers.

In the UK, millions of consumers regularly engage with magazine and newspaper content across both print and digital formats, reflecting the continued importance of editorial media in everyday habits, added Readly.
