The Telegraph has announced the launch of a new dedicated Puzzles app. Puzzle fans everywhere will now be able to pit their wits against The Telegraph’s range of brain-teasers in a brighter, more convenient manner.

Players will benefit from enhanced features and a more user-friendly format. Inside the app, they will find a wide range of daily puzzles for all levels of ability, including: Crosswords, PlusWord, Cross Atlantic, Mini Crossword, Killer Sudoku, Sudoku, Kakuro, and Codewords, added the publisher.

The Puzzles app also features all-new streaks and achievements. Streaks let players showcase their prowess by solving games on consecutive days. Achievements, meanwhile, are in-game rewards that players can earn by solving their favourite puzzles, or tackling new ones.

The Telegraph says the Puzzles app can be downloaded from the App Store for Apple devices and from Google Play for Android devices. Digital Plus subscribers automatically have access to the app, while Digital Subscribers can add it to their package via a Puzzles Subscription. Standalone Puzzles Subscriptions can also be purchased, while non-subscribers can download and try the app free for 14 days.

The Telegraph has a long and celebrated history in puzzles, commented the publisher. It says it was the UK’s first newspaper to publish a daily Cryptic Crossword in 1925. In 2022, The Telegraph launched its new Puzzles website, as well as brand new games, including PlusWord and Cross Atlantic. The Puzzles app is the latest addition to this heritage, almost 100 years in the making.
