Ryan, the 7-year old star of RyanToys Review attracts 60 million views a month in the UK alone and has reached over 1 billion views worldwide. His brand, Ryan’s World, is taking children’s entertainment by storm across the globe, says Egmont.
This partnership represents an exciting move into the YouTube market for Egmont and the beginning of a new partnership between Egmont and pocket.watch.
According to Egmont, Ryan’s journey has been nothing short of astonishing. Ryan and his family started uploading toy review videos to their YouTube channel in March 2015. Within 18 months he became the most-viewed YouTube creator in the world. Ryan’s channels have received over 1 billion views and his brand has expanded both on and off screen. Ryan stars in a new series on Nickelodeon US called Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, which debuted in April and has already become the #1 television show for pre-schoolers and was picked up for a second season only days after its premiere. His retail line launched in Walmart in summer 2018. Ryan’s World products, which include everything from toys to toothbrushes, have been successful in both the US and UK.
Ryan’s World magazine, which will launch in July, will bring together the central pillars of the Ryan’s World brand; smiles, silliness and surprise, in, says Egmonth, an innovative magazine package, complete with a surprise toy that readers will delight in unboxing.
