Exact Editions announces management changes

Exact Editions, the digital publishing platform, yesterday announced two senior appointments to bolster its management team.

James Doughty, who was previously the company’s Production Manager, has been promoted to Publishing Services Manager. In his new role, Doughty will take on the key responsibility of working with publishers to digitise their recent and archival content in order to build new revenue steams.

Daniel Hodgkin, who previously managed institutional sales, has been promoted to Subscriptions Manager, encompassing the role of marketing and selling digital subscriptions to both individuals and institutions on behalf of Exact Editions’ publishing clients.

The changes signal Exact Editions’ continuing commitment to provide individuals and institutions with digital subscriptions to published content of the highest quality, says the company.

Exact Editions’ Managing Director, Daryl Rayner, said: “James has a wealth of experience working with publishers to digitise their content, and in this new role he can apply this knowledge to maximise content outreach and assist publishers in developing their digital subscriber base. Daniel has been running successful institutional marketing campaigns for publishers, and will now be widening his scope to include online and app sales for individuals.”
