FT named one of Best Places to Work in UK
Sarah Hopkins: “We’re delighted to be recognised as a top workplace in the UK by Glassdoor.”

The Financial Times has been named among the UK’s Best Places to Work in 2024 by Glassdoor, a workplace reviews website. The FT ranked 14 out of 50 with a 4.5 rating, and was the highest-placed media organisation on the list. Winners are determined based entirely on employee feedback shared anonymously on Glassdoor over the past year.

FT global human resources director Sarah Hopkins said: “We’re delighted to be recognised as a top workplace in the UK by Glassdoor. FT employees come from all kinds of backgrounds and work across a huge range of disciplines and locations. We are committed to providing an empowering and welcoming workplace culture that values curiosity and rewards smart, ambitious thinking.”

The FT says it provides best-in-class employee benefits and an inclusive environment. They say examples of their benefits include flexible working, enhanced maternity and paternity leave in all regions, and a range of physical, mental, financial and professional wellbeing support such as gym memberships, professional counselling sessions, and a 24-hour employee wellbeing helpline.
