Good Food, a UK food media brand, has announced the nine category winners of the inaugural Good Food SME Awards.

Good Food has announced the nine category winners of the inaugural Good Food SME Awards, celebrating the small and medium-sized businesses whose innovation, creativity and commitment are making an impact in the food, drink and health industry.

The nine category winners are as follows:

BEST CREATIVE/BRANDING

Winner: Miss Kim

Highly commended: Alkmonton Dairy

FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS AWARD

Winner: The Jolly Hog

Highly commended: Chutree and Peasy

BEST INNOVATION

Winner: One Good Thing (OGT)

Highly commended: Renais

INSPIRING FOUNDER

Winner: Veg Life

Highly commended: Superkeen

BEST STORYTELLING OF A BRAND

All winners will be included in digital advertorial and print advertorial features alongside other category winners on the Good Food website and magazine, plus 10% off their next media campaign with Good Food, says the publisher.

The overall winner, who will receive £25,000 of promotional media spend across Good Food platforms which can include print, podcasts and digital allowing them to reach 16 million food lovers, the publisher continued. The winner, who will be announced at the Good Food Summer Show will also receive a stand at the Good Food Show Winter at Birmingham’s NEC, worth up to £15,000.

Winners were selected by an expert judging panel including Mex Ibrahim, co-founder of Women in the Food Industry; Good Food's Head of Brand Trust, Lulu Grimes; business growth expert, Saskia Roberts; Immediate's Food Portfolio Health Editor, Emma Hartfield; Immediate's Chief Commercial Officer, Christina Hawley; Dan Hutson, MD of Nutracheck; and Good Food's Senior Food Editor Barney Desmazery.
