GQ Men Of The Year returns for 2023

British GQ has announced the return of its GQ Men Of The Year (MOTY), in association with BOSS.

GQ Men Of The Year returns for 2023
Adam Baidawi: “With an incredible line up of coverstars and honourees, this year’s Men of the Year celebration promises to be as bold, brash and shiny as ever.”

British GQ says the 2023 celebration, now in its 26th year, will take place on Wednesday 15th of November.

Building on the success of last year’s refreshed format overseen by Deputy Global Editorial Director Adam Baidawi, this year will have a particular focus on fashion, added the publisher.

Similarly to the 2022 celebration, honourees who have shaped culture, fashion, entertainment and sport in 2023 will be recognised by their peers at a candlelit dinner.

Last year’s event saw toasts raised by Aitch, Alex Daddario, Will Poulter, Alex Scott, Alec Boateng, Little Simz, Paul Mescal and Charlie Cox to honourees Jack Harlow, Sydney Sweeney, Leah Williamson, Stormzy, Kit Connor, Joe Locke and Andrew Garfield.

This year, British GQ says guests will enjoy a drinks reception followed by a three-course dinner. An exclusive afterparty will be hosted where a curated set of DJs and live performances will play late into the evening.

GQ Men of the Year says it sees BOSS continue its longstanding, eleven year partnership.

Adam Baidawi, head of editorial content at British GQ, and deputy global editorial director of GQ, said: “With an incredible line up of coverstars and honourees, this year’s Men of the Year celebration promises to be as bold, brash and shiny as ever. We can’t wait to bring friends of the brand, old and new together to toast an incredible list of individuals radically shaping culture.”

Nadia Kokni, senior vice president of global marketing at HUGO BOSS, said: “BOSS is extremely proud of its partnership with The Men of the Year Awards, one of the most highly anticipated moments on the global fashion calendar. BOSS and GQ have a shared philosophy of championing the voices of game-changers across the creative and cultural landscape globally, and we look forward to platforming some of the biggest BOSSES in fashion, film, art and music this year.”

British GQ says Men of the Year will be celebrated globally with a high-impact season of programmed events. Kicking off in November, Men of the Year will be celebrated across all 20 editions of GQ spanning 6 continents with high-profile local events, toasted honourees and unforgettable celebrations from London to New York, Tokyo to Los Angeles and beyond.

GQ says the event will also be sponsored by Amex and Don Julio.
