GQ launches Happy Hour

The publicity material from GQ says:

Finding virus-imposed lockdown soul-crushingly dull? Have no fear: GQ is coming to a screen near you, with GQ Happy Hour, a new Instagram Live broadcast every Thursday from 6pm (BST), featuring guests from the worlds of culture, style, sport and politics (cocktails not provided…)

GQ Happy Hour will bring 60 minutes (ish) of pure, unadulterated live chaos, chat and music to a small screen near you every Thursday at 6pm (BST). Transmitting live on British GQ’s Instagram channel and hosted by Jonathan Heaf, GQ’s Chief Content Officer, Happy Hour aims to be a cross between The Late Late Show With James Corden, TFI Fridays and the infamous 1990s music show The Word.

This week's guests include:

  • Emily Ratajowski on her book/film recommendations while in isolation, as well as her advice for couples isolating together
  • Dynamo on his new show which starts tomorrow evening and his own Corona experience, and
  • GQ's very own Luke Day on hats, grooming and getting that perfect Zoom look from the waist up.

Future guests include Tinie Tempah, Greg James, Maya Jama, James Bay, Dave Grohl, and many more.
