Media 10, the international events company behind Clerkenwell Design Week and Shoreditch Design Week, at the beginning of April announced the launch of Design at Work New York, a new trade event dedicated to commercial interiors and workplace design. The inaugural edition will take place 10-11 March 2027 at the Javits Center.
Positioned as New York’s only dedicated workspace design fair, Media 10 says Design at Work New York will bring together manufacturers, architects, interior designers, occupiers and developers to explore the future of the workplace. The event will showcase a curated selection of global brands across workplace furniture, acoustic solutions, pods and booths, breakout and collaborative environments, lighting, materials, and integrated workplace technology – reflecting the full spectrum of contemporary workplace design. A talks programme and targeted networking opportunities will sit at the heart of the event.
The company says the launch marks a strategic expansion of Media 10’s design portfolio into the U.S., building on the success of Clerkenwell Design Week – a UK design festival and Shoreditch Design Week, the largest official district of the London Design Festival.
New York represents a critical global hub for workplace design, Media 10 continued, with over 30,000 architecture and design professionals and more than 16,000 architects, alongside the largest office market in the United States. Ongoing commercial development and workplace transformation continue to drive demand for high-quality, design-led interior solutions.
Design at Work New York will focus on delivering a specification-led audience, connecting exhibitors directly with decision-makers actively working on commercial projects. Media 10 says it will work closely with key industry associations, media partners and design organisations to ensure a highly targeted, high-quality visitor profile and strong market reach.
“New York is one of the most important and influential design markets in the world, yet there is no single event dedicated purely to workplace design at a high level,” said Marlon Cera-Marle, director, Design Division, Media 10. “With Design at Work, we are creating a focused, design-led platform that connects brands directly with the architects, designers and occupiers shaping the future of work.”
“We see a clear opportunity to bring a more curated, specification-driven event to the U.S. market,” added Jedd Barry, head of marketing. “By working closely with industry associations and leading media partners, we’re building a platform that not only showcases innovation but also delivers real commercial value for exhibitors and meaningful connections for visitors.”
The event will feature a carefully designed exhibition environment, two talks theatres, including a dedicated end-user and occupier programme and curated networking spaces designed to encourage collaboration and business exchange, added Media 10. Design at Work New York will take place at the Javits Center on 10–11 March 2027.
