Mirae Asset Global Investments Co., Ltd. (“Mirae Asset”) and Bloomberg have announced that they will embark on a global strategic data and technology collaboration to support Mirae Asset – an asset manager in Asia, operating in 16 markets – in its global business expansion and digital transformation.

Bloomberg says, drawing on its expertise in financial information services, it will offer solutions tailored to Mirae Asset in support of the asset manager’s mission to provide investment offerings for global investors. Both parties say they will also actively explore additional areas for collaboration, particularly in the realms of digital transformation, data solutions and innovation.

“At Mirae Asset, we are proud to operate a globally diversified investment platform with intelligent solutions across various asset classes to meet ever-evolving investor needs. The growing scale of our business is in constant demand of integrated technologies and high-quality data solutions,” said Young Kim, the chief officer at Mirae Asset. “We look forward to collaborating with Bloomberg as we fully utilize the expertise of both parties to help investors from different parts of the world achieve their long-term objectives.”

“We are excited to sign our very first MOU in South Korea and establish this strategic collaboration with Mirae Asset and support them as they realize their ambitious business goals and in their role as a world-leading asset management company,” said Bing Li, head of Asia-Pacific at Bloomberg. “With our decades-long heritage in the region, and our industry-leading data and technology solutions, we are committed to bringing more value to our clients in South Korea and throughout Asia, working with them to support their strategies in global markets.”

Bloomberg says it provides asset management companies with end-to-end solutions, data, news, analytics and access to an extensive community of financial professionals and business experts. To find out more click here.
