In 2019, The Railway Hub app and website was launched as well as the Classic Bike Hub in the beginning of 2020.
The MoreBikes app and website brings together the best of Mortons Media Group Publications: Fast Bikes, Motorcycle Sport and Leisure, Classic Motorcycle Mechanics and Back Street Heroes across mobile, tablet and desktop using Better than Paper’s publishing solution.
MoreBikes was originally launched in March 2014 as the online presence of the Mortons’ monthly bike newspaper – Motor Cycle Monthly – and in 2020 the goal was simple for Morton Media Group; expand and share the newspaper’s content across multiple digital platforms for anyone to access. The new site and app can be personalised for readers' interests opening up the wider motorcycle world. It incorporates the latest news, product reviews, motorcycle tests, launch reports, interviews and more.
Mortons Media Group commented in their latest press release: “The MoreBikes project began with the introduction of Better than Paper’s modern, responsive website design and native app rivalling anything the industry offers. Both platforms enable MoreBikes to incorporate a weekly e-newsletter of the biggest stories delivered straight to readers, a MoreBikes YouTube channel (which already has up to nineteen million views), a MoreBikes podcast available on the MoreBikes app (available on iOS and Android).”
Darren Hendley, Digital Media Manager, Mortons Media Group said: “We looked at several technology providers before we settled with Better Than Paper. The team fully understood our needs and had a product that seemed to fit our brief perfectly. They worked quickly and provided solutions to problems every step of the way. We are only a couple of weeks after launch, but already getting great feedback for the cross-platform app from our customers.”
