PA Training relaunches as PA Media Academy

PA Media’s training arm has relaunched as PA Media Academy - with new courses, branding and the digital home www.pamediaacademy.com.

PA Training relaunches as PA Media Academy
Vicky Frost: “Our bold new brand mirrors the confidence we have in our training courses – and in the expert practitioners and trainers who deliver them.”

PA Media says The Academy, formerly known as PA Training, will offer an expanded range of professional training courses for those looking to gain new skills and a competitive edge. These four and six-hour training sessions cover essential and advanced skills for journalists, content makers and communications professionals, and can be booked by organisations or individuals.

The Academy says it has also added a new apprenticeship for content creators to its slate of journalism and communications training, and will continue to offer expert media training.

For the first time, all of its courses for the journalism, content and communications industries are being brought together in one place.

PA Media Academy holds the same high standards as the PA newsroom and the content and communications businesses within the wider PA Media Group (PAMG), added the company. The redesigned courses utilise expertise from across the business. Short courses focused on social media will be delivered in partnership with Hydrogen social media agency, part of PAMG.

Vicky Frost, managing director, PA Media Academy said: “Our bold new brand mirrors the confidence we have in our training courses – and in the expert practitioners and trainers who deliver them.

“With a revised and reimagined programme of short courses aimed at professionals, gold-standard media training, leading apprenticeship training and our thriving NCTJ Diploma courses, we are thrilled to be working hand-in-hand with industry partners to deliver relevant training that reflects current practice.”
