Piero Pavone: “We are very proud of all that we have achieved in the last six years, but really, the hard work starts here.”

Programmatic platform Preciso is celebrating its sixth anniversary with the launch of a new website. The new design reflects the growing maturity of Preciso’s client base, as well as the innovation and technical expertise at the heart of the brand, says the company.

In its six years in business, Preciso says it has established itself as a programmatic partner to brands across multiple industries. It now employs over 70 people in six countries, including Italy, China, India, Canada, the UK and the Philippines.

At the heart of the business is Preciso’s flagship Smart-Bid technology, which enables clients to launch campaigns with just a few clicks. The technology predicts customer behaviour to calculate placements to buy, boosting relevance and conversion, and putting the power back into the hands of advertisers, added Preciso.

The last 12 months have also seen the company add to its offerings, with two new product launches. Ultima for Publishers, launched in April, enables publishers to generate additional revenues from their websites, the company continued. Designed for sites running on WordPress, the Ultima for Publishers WordPress plugin enables publishers to choose where to place native advertising units on their sites, and monetise them with reputable, brand-safe ads which respect the user experience - with no gambling or adult advertising content, and no pop-unders or intrusive banners.

Meanwhile the company says, Ultima Ads for Advertisers, launched in May, is the first native ads app plugin for Shopify that focuses on a merchant’s advertising goals - enabling them to access highly-qualified traffic and 100% user engagement within their Shopify dashboard. By syncing product feeds, purchase history and browsing behaviour with the Ultima app, merchants can create bespoke audience segments for more precise targeting; retarget previous visitors who left the site without buying; and build lookalike audiences to find consumers who share the same characteristics as their best customers. Ultima is Preciso’s targeted native advertising solution. It uses machine learning technology to create personalised campaign creatives and automatically embed them within web pages to combat banner blindness and drive engagement.

“We are very proud of all that we have achieved in the last six years, but really, the hard work starts here,” said Preciso CEO Piero Pavone. “The programmatic marketplace becomes more confusing and more opaque with every passing day. We see our role as one of helping clients to navigate it and make the most of what programmatic has to offer. We will continue to innovate and develop our platform to help advertisers maximise the return on their advertising investment.”
