Further details on the shape of the business and how Pro Shop Europe will complement Golf Retailing will be announced in the coming weeks, says the company.
Speaking about the transaction, Ben Allen, CEO of MAG, said: “Pro Shop Europe is an excellent and well-established brand in the golf retailing sector, but it no longer fits with MAG’s strategic direction. Although it is sad to lose the magazine from our portfolio, MAG is delighted that Pro Shop Europe has found a great home at Swink Media and we look forward to seeing the brand develop and grow in an organisation with such a strong reputation in the golf trade.”
