The World of Interiors runs its first commercial Facebook Live Interview

The World of Interiors yesterday conducted its first commercial Facebook Live interview, with award-winning furniture designer Tom Faulkner.

Speaking to Sophia Salaman in his London studio, Tom gave an insight into the workings of his company, discussed the inspiration behind his furniture, his most iconic piece of furniture, and gave design advice.

Having recently celebrated its 35th anniversary with the December 2016 issue, this inaugural commercial Facebook Live interview is part of future-facing native advertising opportunities available across the magazine’s social media platforms, say the publishers. This launched earlier in the year across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Brands to have signed up to these native campaigns include GP&J Baker, Summit, Fermoie, Holland & Sherry, ABC Carpets, Tatiana Tafur, Sunbrella, Oly Furniture.

Emma Redmayne, Publishing Director of The World of Interiors says, “This is about being part of the social media conversation hand in hand with The World of Interiors. We are bringing our advertisers even closer to customers with bespoke social media packages delivered on an international scale. It’s done with the same level of excellence and creativity these clients have come to expect and rely on from The World of Interiors. We truly are excited to bring such creative opportunities to the market in a digital capacity that’s working successfully alongside print.”

The World of Interiors has recently conducted its first editorial Facebook Live at Christies speaking to the head curators of their Noble & Private collections Part 1 sale which took place this week.
