Time Out Market Abu Dhabi earlier this week announced that it will open at Saadiyat Grove on Saadiyat Island. The Market will bring the best of the city together under one roof through a curated mix of some of Abu Dhabi’s best chefs and restaurateurs, drinks, entertainment and cultural experiences, all under one roof, says Time Out. The opening will mark the arrival of the second Time Out Market in the UAE and create a new destination for residents and visitors to discover Abu Dhabi’s evolving culinary and creative scene.
Spanning over 37,000 sq ft, Time Out says the Market will feature 16 kitchens including the region’s first Time Out Cafe, two bars, a live stage, an experiential competitive socialising zone and a large outdoor terrace. Designed for gathering, the 711 seats spread across indoor and outdoor spaces brings people together in a vibrant yet accessible setting. The Market will offer everything from casual lunches and family gatherings to evenings with friends and an ever-changing line-up of live entertainment and events.
At the heart of the experience will be Time Out Market’s editorially curated approach, Time Out continued. Drawing on Time Out’s local expertise and knowledge of the city, the culinary line-up will bring together established names, much-loved local concepts and rising talent, offering a diverse representation of Abu Dhabi’s dining scene. The first vendors joining the Market will be announced in the coming months.
Alongside its food and beverage offering, Time Out says Time Out Market Abu Dhabi will host a year-round programme of cultural experiences, including live performances, entertainment and creative collaborations. The programme will reflect the energy and diversity of Abu Dhabi while creating new opportunities for local talent and communities to connect.
