Glamour debuts as first international magazine franchise in Iceland

Glamour Iceland is launched today, the 17th global edition of the women’s magazine.

Condé Nast International is publishing this under a licence agreement with the Scandinavian island nation’s leading print, digital and broadcast media company, 365 Media Group. Launching with the April issue the cover was shot by Silja Magg and the model is Caroline Winberg. Online Glamour can be found at www.glamour.is.

Carol Cornuau, President of Condé Nast International New Markets, remarked: “We are delighted to be the first international media brand in the Icelandic market, combining the Glamour DNA with the Nordic sense of style.”

Glamour currently has 16 print and digital editions and websites, based in the following markets: Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Latin America, The Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, Romania, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. The international readership exceeds 22 million a month, with 19 million unique users, says Condé Nast International.
